Copy Right: collection of rights granted to the author of a piece of work
Licenses:
1. Public Domain: items aren’t protected by copyright: expired, created with public money, donated into public domain
Example: classic literature and music
2. Freeware: anything you can download it for free
Example: spotify, itunes
3.Shareware: copyrighted work that can be shared for free for limited time, for extended use must pay
Example: free trials
4. All Rights Reserved: allows user to use software based on regulations and license agreements
Example: software bought in Best-Buy
5. Open Source: software that includes the source code with the idea someone can improve it
Example: chrome
