Happy Tuesday!

I am sending this information early because I just found out that we will be having Reconciliation this week! For students who have received their sacraments, they will be able to receive Reconciliation with Father Wagner at the school on Wednesday. Also, for students who have not received their sacraments, they are more than welcome to chat with Father Wagner and receive a blessing. This will begin immediately after mass on Wednesday (approximately 8:30 or so). We are getting ready for Holy Week. Palm Sunday is this weekend!

Tardies!

Please do your best to get the kids in to the school so that they can be at class and start the day by 8 am. It is difficult for the late children and the rest of the class to start the day when people are trickling in late. We have a lot of people routinely arriving just after 8 am. Being late (tardy) should be an occasional situation and not routine. Remember, drop offs begin at 7:45 am so the kids can get things put away and get settled and ready for their day when school starts at 8 am. Thank you!

Touching Safety Class


In October, students in Kindergarten through grade 8 had their first yearly lesson from the sexual abuse prevention program, the Touching Safety program. The second lesson is to be done at this point in the year. This program is provided to us by the Archdiocese of Seattle and is a part of our ongoing effort to help create and maintain a safe environment for children and to protect all children from sexual abuse.


The scheduled lesson is being offered to all students at Holy Rosary Regional School. As a parent, you have the right to choose whether your student participates. We encourage you to read the information found at www.virtus.org so you’ll be aware of the nature of the Touching Safety program. If you have questions about the program or the lesson, please don't hesitate to contact your child's teacher. If you determine that you DO NOT want your child to participate, please complete the “opt-out” form that will be sent home by the teacher. All children who do not bring back a completed opt out form will receive the lesson.

Good Friday - Stations of the Cross and Noon Dismissal (No Extended Care)
