Week of November 29th @ LVMS
As per Dr. Turnamian's COVID-19 Health Update (sent on 11/27/2021) LVMS will transition to FULL REMOTE instruction until Wednesday, December 8th, 2021. We are hopeful to return to in person instruction on Thursday, December 9th.
Please carefully review Mr. Ippolito's "Transition to Remote Instruction" (sent on 11/28/2021)
which outlines important information on Student Daily Attendance, the Daily Schedule, Technology Concerns, Lunches, as well as LVMS's Overall Expectations for the Students as we transition to Remote Instruction.

Reminders
COVID-19 RESOURCES: Please continue to consult the resources that have been made available from the district regarding any questions, information, and testing. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to our nurses Mrs. Hade or Mrs. Pinto.
CLUBS & ACTIVITES: LVMS before/after school Clubs & Activities are postponed until further notice.
TIPS FOR SUCCESS: As we transition to Remote Instruction, please check our Mr. Ippolito and Mr. Mirabella's "Tips for Success".
LVMS Master Schedule
Students are expected to follow their regular class schedule, beginning with Period 1 (8:52am). Be sure to check Google Classroom at the start of each class period. Information about required Google Meets and classwork/assignments will be posted there for students. Class Attendance will be taken daily.
COLLECTION OF MATERIALS
Students needing to gather belongings or materials from LVMS Lockers or Classrooms may do so on Monday, November 29th between 7:30 and 9am and from 3:30pm until 5:30pm. If possible, band and orchestra students should attempt to pick up any instruments during this time as well.
Only LVMS Students will be permitted in the building, parents are asked to remain outside. Please note that students might be required to wait for entry so we can manage the number of students in the building. As always, all students must wear masks while in the building.
Grade 6 Students should enter through the “greenhouse doors” near our Guidance Office(s).
Grade 7 Students may enter through the PAC Doors near the Parking lot exit.
Grade 8 Students may enter using our Main Entrance.
TECHNOLOGY NEEDS
If your child experiences a "tech issue", please contact our technology help desk at helpdesk@wtschools.org and avoid sending the communication to the schools. This will help to streamline a response.
HotSpots are available for students who need internet access. Please reach out to your child’s school counselor if you need a hotspot during this temporary transition to virtual instruction.

LVMS Lunch Menus & Information
As we move into our Temporary Full Remote Schedule, lunches will still be available as needed. Families wishing to arrange a pick-up of a School Lunch should reach out to Stephanie Stetz for information about coordinating an opportunity to do so.

Sponsored by the WTPD, the NJHS and LVMS Student Council will be assisting with the annual Toys for Tots collection!

Health and Safety
