Greetings to the Britt Elementary School Community!

This year has flown by! I can hardly believe that we are so close to bidding our students farewell for the summer. During these last days of school, it is imperative to continue meaningful instruction, maintain constant supervision, and to hold students to the same high standards of behavior and academic expectations. Students will be taking district assessments this week, and results will be coming to you that can be compared to pre tests taken earlier this year. Please use the data to finalize your RBES and to reflect on instruction for this school year. Send your administrator an email as soon as you finalize your RBES so they can review and sign-off on your RBES.

As you have heard from the media, promotional criteria for grades three, four, and five will be updated. Your administrator will be sharing this information with you as soon as official directions come to us from the district. Be sure to follow your 2016 Britt end of year checklist. I am sure Britt will enjoy another smooth ending of the school year, thanks to the dedicated and professional Britt faculty and staff.

Let me know how I can best support your good work at Britt Elementary School as we all strive together using effective, innovative practices to transform and personalize teaching and learning.

With warmest regards,

Britt Elementary School, going strong in 2016!
