Upcoming Events and Important Dates

The College Visitation Day will be held Monday, September 26, 2016 from 7:45am - 9:00am. This is a Senior only event. It is a browsing format that will take place in the New Gym.

Seniors attended the Tri-University Tour early this month where they had a chance to meet with representatives from Arizona State University, The University of Arizona, and Northern Arizona University. Now they can meet with the community colleges, plus some out-of-state and technical schools.

This event is coordinated by the College Relations Committee through the Arizona School Counselors Association. Colleges that are a part of the Committee are allowed to attend. The following schools have confirmed their attendance:

Arizona Christian University

AZ Transfer

Central Arizona College

Colorado Mesa University

Eastern Arizona College

Glendale Community College

Grand Canyon University

New Mexico State University

Phoenix College

Universal Technical Institute

University of New Mexico

Trine University

Benedictine University - Mesa

Prescott College

Wilkes University

Army Reserves

National Guard

In order to make the experience more efficient and enjoyable, students are encouraged to register for the event. The registration process for a student is simple. Each student has received an email to their school account with instructions on how to finish the registration online. Students will provide their information, elaborating on their academic interests and more. will then encrypt their profile data and generate a personalized barcode that identifies them. They can then use the barcode at the fair, and the college admissions representative that they speak to can simply scan the barcode; subsequently, their profile data will automatically be sent to them in a secure, electronic format for future follow-up. The School Counselors will print the barcode for them a few days before the event. This is another great opportunity for seniors to meet with representatives from in-state and out-of-state colleges, universities and technical schools. Please encourage your students to register!
