Referrals Reminder:
If you see student behavior that warrants a referral (major or minor) you should be the person to write the referral. You should also be the person who addresses the behavior unless you need additional support to do so. Writing a referral is not the consequence, it is merely the documentation of the incident.
Classroom Environment and Self Regulation
One of the components of our evaluation rubric is classroom environment. See this link for language from the rubric.

Great things are happening at JME!
- Our primary team extends a helping hand and supports all students learning to read.
- Nicky greets everyone with a smile and makes the library so welcoming.
- Jenika encourages our students to be their very best.
- Rose takes the extra time to call families and see why their children are missing school.
- Maura is constantly being creative with the schedule to better leverage resources for kids.
- Cathy thinks her students are amazing and finds ways for them to show their talents.
- And so much more!
