What's New
Referendum Fact of the Week!
Each week from now until April 2, we’ll take this opportunity to educate our families on the upcoming Operating Referendum.
The mill rate is projected to drop over the next three years, whether the referendum fails or passes. A successful referendum will maintain current revenue to the District, causing a smaller drop in the mill rate than it would otherwise. EVEN WITH a successful referendum, it is projected that residents will see a $52 savings per $100,000 value of their home (i.e. $52 x 3.5 for a $350,000 home = $182 savings) by year 3 of the referendum.
Battle of the Books
The Battle of the Books competition on February 14 included 6 teams of five to six students. All participants were in 4th and 5th grade. The school competition was very exciting and ended in a tie breaker. The winning team is Chicken Nuggets Clan: Joey W, Clark H, Michael V, Graham H, and Warren V.
