Cordata Elementary
Back to School (Virtually!) Updates!
School Supply Distribution!
This Thursday and Friday, September 3 and 4, please come to Cordata to pick up your student's school supplies! We will be available Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and again Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM :)
Also, if you received a laptop from the school last spring, please bring it with you so that we can assist you with updates!
Please remember the first day of school is Tuesday, September 8, and we will begin the year with learning at home, or virtual learning. Thank you!
Technology Updates!
Last spring, we provided devices for students in grades K-5 upon request.
This year, students in grades PreK, K, and 1 will receive district-issued iPads by early October. We will communicate distribution plans after school starts.
Students in grades 2-3 will receive laptops to begin the school year. Students should return any laptop or iPad they received last spring when they pick up their new device. They can pick up supplies and devices during our school supply pick-up times listed above.
·
Students in grades 4-5 will update their laptops during supply pick up. This means you will drive or walk to the parking lot closest to the building, stay in your car if driving, and Cordata staff will assist you from a safe distance.
To summarize, if you have a device, bring it! You will either turn it in when you pick up your new device (2nd and 3rd grade) or update it when you get here (4th and 5th grade). If you don’t have a device, we will make sure you get one!
Connecting with Families Begins Soon!
Teachers will begin reaching out to Cordata families this week! We look forward to connecting with you!
Meal Distribution Continues at Cordata! :)
Update from Food Services and the Good Food Project; Wednesday pickups begin Sept. 9
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 9, the food services model will change to a 10-meal/5-day box. All Cordata families may participate in weekly meal boxes, at no charge; one meal box for each child. Pick up will be between 4:00 and 5:30 PM each Wednesday. Hope to see you on September 9!
