Attendance Reminder from Attendance Clerk

Parents,


If your students is absent please return a note to the front office within 3 days of student returning, otherwise it becomes an unexcused absence.


We cannot take emails as absence notes if it doesn’t have a parent signature. You can have a doctor/ dentist email or fax me a note.


Please make sure when writing an absence note to have student’s first and last name, date of absence, reason and parent signature.

School Picture Day

School picture day is Tuesday, September 11th. Ordering packets will be sent home with students a few days before the pictures. Be sure to mark your calendars.

Football Pictures and Information

Football Picture day is next Tuesday Sep 4th. Please make sure that your student athlete washes their pants over the extended weekend. 8th grade needs to report promptly at 6:45 am and 7th grade will report to the gym at 7:50 am.

7th grade will Scrimmage Bowman at McMillen High School Tuesday September 4th, at 4:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair if you are planning on attending.


8th grade will take on Otto at Clark West on Wednesday September 5th. B Team game starts at 5:30, A Team around 7:00 or immediately following the B game.

MMS Environmental Club

The first meeting will be Friday, Sept.7th from 3:30-4:30 in Mrs. Pilgrim’s classroom E113. All MMS students are welcomed. Be sure to have transportation home at 4:30 and dress for working outside. We will be working on a landscaping project with newspapers. Drop them off in the front office if you have them.

Hawaiian Falls- Plano PTA Back to School Splash Day


Sunday, September 2, 2018 Hawaiian Falls – The Colony: 4400 Paige Road, The Colony 75056 Park opens: 10:30 am – use your admission ticket ALL DAY Park re-opens for a PTA private party: 6:30-9:30 pm – use your wristband to re-enter • $15 – Park admission • $20 – Park admission with unlimited drink • $25 – Park admission with unlimited drink and a walk up meal • $10 – Coolers with non-commercial food • Children under 2 years old – FREE
