Activities to Help Your Child Keep Learning During the Summer
Research has shown that summer learning based in family and community activities increases students' school achievement. Students who participate in summer learning activities--whether camp-based, community-based, or family-based--score higher on their fall achievement tests than students who are left to their own devices during their free time. (Alexander, Entwisle, & Olsen, 2007).
ESC 20 has compiled a local programs and summer activity guide. Go to https://www.esc20.net/page/se_pr.Summer to view the entire guide.
