No Dogs on Campus
WE LOVE DOGS! BUT, NOT ON CAMPUS. Please use Butcher Park on Ross Ave.
Cambrian School District (CSD) does not allow dogs on campus, anyone bringing a dog onto a CSD campus, with or without permission, remains subject to Cambrian School District Board Policy, (BP) 1310, sections A - J, and the following San Jose Municipal Codes (SJMC): SJMC 7.40.040- RESTRAINT OF DOGS – All dog owners must keep the dog(s) under direct physical restraint by means of a leash not to exceed 6 feet in length; SJMC 7.40.010- PUBLIC NUISANCE - No dog owner may allow the animal to defecate on public/private property without immediately removing the excrement to a proper receptacle.
Call San Jose Animal Care to report any concerns regarding loose dogs: (408) 794-7222, or the San Jose Police Department non-emergency phone line at (408) 277-8900. Call 911 if there is an immediate danger to you or others. Additionally, you may call the Cambrian School District Office to voice your concerns regarding dogs on District property: (408) 377-2103.

Join the Fammatre HSC and the San Jose Astronomical Association for solar observing and experiments with light!
This is a family event, siblings are welcome. Please RSVP with number of kids (participating in activities) and adults (observing) so we have enough supplies.

Parent Engagement Survey
Please take a few moments and fill out Parent Engagement Survey included in this link. Ms. Haley has many activities and events that she would like to have next year, but wants to make sure that she is addressing the desires of the Fammatre Community. We are hoping to add one more survey for families and students to take to indicate interest in specific ideas for next year as Ms. Haley begins writing our next year goals.
State Testing: May 2 - 18
If possible, please try and plan appointments later in the day during our testing dates.
Fammatre Family Auction: Sat., May 7th - 4-7pm
Please save the date for Saturday, May 7 from 4-7pm for our Family Fun Day and Silent Auction. We will have plenty of games, bounce houses, a train, and food trucks, along with the silent auction sale out on the Fammatre blacktop. We hope you will bring the kids out for a fun evening and tell your friends to come out too!
A quick reminder that we are still accepting Silent Auction donations this week through 4/29 if you are able to donate.

Additionally, if you are able to donate a bottle or two of wine for wine bundles to bid on OR any unused gift cards or new items gifted to you taking up space in a closet that you will never use, we would greatly appreciate these donations.
If you are able to donate your time at the event for a shift, please let your room parent know and they will pass the information on.

Enrollment 2022-2023
Cambrian School District has begun enrollment for the 2022-23 School Year.
Do you have a child that needs to start school for the first time, do you know someone who has just moved to the area, or do you know someone who is looking for another district to attend? If so, please help spread the word about the great schools in the Cambrian School District.
Important information to know and share:
- Cambrian uses an online registration system that can be accessed through our website using the blue 2022-23 School Year registration button, which will be active starting on January 24th
- Transitional Kindergarten Age Requirements have been expanded for the 2022-23 School Year:
- Transition Kindergarten students must turn five (5) years of age on or between September 2, 2022, through February 2, 2023.
- More enrollment and registration requirements can be found on our website.
