COURSE SELECTION PROCESS FOR 2021-2022 BEGINS IN FEBRUARY 2021
February 19th. The deadline for course selection cards to be signed and returned is
March 19th. Dual Credit Forms are due on April 23rd. May 3rd is the last date to be able to make changes to your course selection.
Parents and Students: During the weeks between February 19th and March 19th is the time that you all need to be communicating with each other, as well as current teachers and counselors about the courses your student needs to take. PLEASE take the time during these weeks to ask questions so we can all be on the same page.
NO PLACE FOR HATE
We have successfully completed our very first activity where 10 of the team members came together and put Post-it notes around the school. We have been meeting and working on scheduling our next activity that will be an early spring semester. We are looking to have a Social Lunch where students are given a color card when they walk into the cafeteria and assign a certain table to sit with. This will encourage new friends and a chance for those that would not normally sit together have a chance to meet each other.

Higher Education Visit Day Forms (College Visit Form)
Parents and Students:
Since there are many colleges who have cancelled their VISIT WEEKENDS or DAYS on campus, please contact Mrs. Holloway. She can share the admission counselor contact information to your colleges of choice. She is also willing to help you schedule a meeting after hours or during the school day in her office.
Available on the AISD Website and in the AHS Admin Office!
Juniors receive two excused absences and Seniors receive two excused absences to visit postsecondary institutions. Your student may be interested in visiting a 4-year college, 2-year college, military institution or trade school program. The completed form and return document are to be received by Ms. Cindy Tovar, our AHS Attendance Clerk. Ms. Tovar is now located in the admin office.
