Get Excited Tigers!! Colony Meadows Elementary is partnering with the Fort Bend Education Foundation to participate in their 6th Annual Sugar Shindig by taking part in The Great Cupcake Chase!

If a family donates just $5 they are able to go on The Great Cupcake Chase!

Each family that chooses to join in will receive email and text clues so they can go on a “hunt” for 6 of the cupcakes on Saturday, October 24. When participants find each cupcake, they will receive a stamp on a Sugar Pass. Once they find all 6 cupcakes, they will come to the Sugar Shack at the FBISD Admin building to pick up a sweet treat (while supplies last) and see if they have won any prizes. Also, if participants post selfies with the cupcakes, and post to Instagram or Twitter with the #fbefcupcakechase they will have a chance to win prizes as well.

Please note, this is a family friendly, socially distanced event. We will send the participants instructions on the social distancing protocols we will have in place at the cupcake locations (e.g., only one family near the cupcakes at a time, 6 ft marks for standing, etc.).

As for the Fort Bend Education Foundation, their mission is to provide opportunities to enrich and enhance the quality for all Fort Bend ISD students through its grants to teachers and schools programs. This year alone $622,000 in Grants have been given to teachers and schools in FBISD, Colony Meadows being one of the recipients of a large grant.

So Tiger Family let’s all get together to support not only our school but our entire Fort Bend ISD community. All while getting to do something safe and fun!!

Registration will begin online September 24th
