We'll be filling in more parts as we go along and the kids may well have more than 1 small part (most of them are not speaking or have only 1 line). I'm taking volunteers when something sparks their interest. Right now, I'm working on pulling together all the music. It's actually harder than I thought to track some of the songs down! Once I get everything, I'll send home CDs for the kids to practice.
We will be presenting the Bible in 50 Words to the congregation during the 2nd service on Mother's Day, May 13th, so please invite friends and family and plan to be in service that day!
Advent Challenge Week 1
Have your children do a couple of extra chores to earn some money. Then, take them shopping for hats, mittens and scarves. Bring your goodies to church and hang them on our Mitten Tree this Sunday, December 3rd, the 1st Sunday of Advent.
Next up - Put a Bow on It!
Ugly Christmas T-Shirt Workshop this Sunday!
Then, on December 10th, we ask that everyone wear their ugly T-Shirts as the kids serve as greeters and ushers during the services. A signup will come out in a few weeks for you to sign up your kids so please keep your eyes posted.
Ladies Christmas Tea
Crafts, Cookies & Caroling
Join us on Sunday afternoon, December 10th from 3:00 – 4:30pm for a fun, Christmas family event featuring the crafts of Christy Forhan and the musical (and trivial!) knowledge and enthusiasm of Gary Forhan. We’ll have some extra hands-on games for more active kids.
We ask every family to please bring a plate of cookies and a gift for the OLCC,P Kids Adopt-a-Family.
