Quick Note From Principal Turner
This week is a week of endings and new beginnings. Our first semester ends on Wednesday and the 3rd quarter and 2nd semester begins on Thursday. As we prepare for the transition, we're going back to our basics of emphasizing quiet, orderly and safe class-to-class transitions, data-driven instruction and effective PLCs that support teacher communication, skill development and ultimately student achievement. The consistency of our protocols & procedures and the gradual increase of our expectations for ourselves and our scholars will fuel our progress towards the goals that we have set for this year.
Please review the information that is included below and feel free to contact any of our leadership team members with questions you may have regarding the contents. Also, please do not overlook the attachments that were included in the email that contained this link. These attachments will help you to plan for Wednesday's early release day, Tuesday & Wednesday's ESL parent night and for our teacher workday on January 25th.
Thank you for being amazing leaders and continue to press onward Spartans!!!
Wednesday Early Release Reminder
3rd Quarter starts on Thursday. New schedule distribution and procedures.
Kickboard Kickoff to Support our School Culture
As of this morning, we only have 12 educators who have set up their classes in Kickboard. It is imperative that we have everyone on board in order to provide our scholars with the opportunity to earn positive rewards. If you have not yet done so, please take some time this weekend or during your planning to get your classes set up! We want to hit the ground running when 2nd Semester begins! The flipped PD is available below, and as always, Mr. Johnson and I are ready to help you any way that we can!
Please find the link below for our Kickboard Flipped PD! You may copy and paste the link or type it directly in to your browser.
