Volunteers Needed
Student Drop off and Pick up Safety Reminders:
REMINDER:
Speed limits around the school are 15 miles an hour. Please slow down.
Park only in designated parking spots. Do not double park or park in an area that is not intended for parking.
When in the parking lot, only cross at our designated crosswalk.
GOLF CARTS: Do not drive golf carts on sidewalks. During the busy morning drop off and pick up, this can be extremely dangerous.
During morning drop off, no parking on Sagebrush near the baseball gate. This should be for drive by and drop off only. Do not drop your child off on the opposite side of the road and have them cross the street without there being a designated crosswalk.
Obey all of the traffic signs and speeds around LES during school hours.
When you pick up your child near the gazebo, make eye contact with the teacher so they can high five or fist bump your child before they release them to you. Do not come into the center of the grass area where our teachers and students go to be released. This is not the time to conference with our teachers. They are busy making sure all of our students are safe and have made contact with their parent or guardian.
During curbside pick up, pull up as far as possible before stopping to pick up your child. We have staff that will make sure they come to your car when it is safe.
Together we can make this a safe experience for everyone.
