Snow Pants for everyone!!

Yep, it is that time, every child (not just the K-3 students) need to have snow pants at school in order to attend recess. We go out to recess every day that it is warmer than -10 degrees (including wind chill factor) so snow pants are a "must." Of course, gloves/mittens, hats, boots, and coats are needed as well. Thank you for your attention to this. Please be sure your child has all of the equipment for recess when they leave your house in the mornings.

If you happen to have an extra pair of snow pants from last year that your kids have outgrown, please send them to school and we will take care of "handing them down."

Thank you.

TURKEY BINGO IS COMING THIS FRIDAY AT 6PM

If you have never been to Turkey Bingo, you have missed out. It is a great time for everyone. Adults get to have fun playing bingo (and maybe even win Thanksgiving dinner) and the kids get to have fun playing Lynxo (Bingo for books in the library.) Bingo starts at 6pm so come a little early to buy your cards and pick out a spot where you can hear the number caller (Thank you Brent Johnson.) Twelve Turkeys, a bunch of pies, and a lot of fun for everyone. See you here this Friday.

HUGE "THANK YOU" to the Kasilof Mercantile/Rocky's Cafe

From ice cream at Easter to sponsoring the Community Thanksgiving Dinner and so much more, the "Merc" and Rocky's Café are always stepping up to help our community and our school. I would just like to say "Thank you," for all you do

Thank you to the VFW Ladies Auxiliary!

Many heads are warmer now, thanks to our VFW Ladies Auxiliary who donated several warm hats for our students. Thank you so much.

Health tip from Mrs. Abel

“At birth, babies already show preference for their native language (they have already started to develop phonological awareness, or recognition of sounds). The more language a child hears, the better they are able to speak it! To speak a second language with minimal accent, research suggests a child should be exposed to phonemes (sounds) of the second language before puberty.”
