A volcanic eruption is an unavoidable natural disaster. Though they can't be stopped, there are some ways to avoid being present during an eruption, and some tips on what to do if you get caught in a situation like this. You never know when a volcano could erupt. Here is how to be prepared.
Before:
If you know a volcano is active and could potentially erupt soon, be careful and try your best to avoid it. This is especially important if there are warnings from authorities.
During:
If you are going to a place near a active volcano, or you live near a volcano, know an evacuation route. If a volcano was to erupt you need to know the best way to stay safe.
After:
Always have an emergency kit packed and ready for a volcano aftermath. Pack it with a pair of goggles, a mask, a flashlight, a battery operated radio, and first aid materials.
