Duck Tales

October 2018

Hi Duck Parents,

September was a great month! The kids are starting to get used to the routine and are settling in well. We continue to work on using manners (please and thank you) and our words (not our hands) when we need or want something. We appreciate your reinforcing this with your kids at home too. Thanks!

Fall Party

We will have a Fall Party on October 30th and 31th. The kids can bring their costumes to school in their backpacks. They will be dressing up for Trick-or-Treating at 12:45pm around the school offices. We will have a party sign-up sheet outside our door to bring allergy friendly snacks, games, and a craft. We will have a class party at 1:00pm right after Trick-or-Treating. Parents are invited to join us for the party.

We will be going outside as often as possible as weather permits. As the weather changes to cooler temperatures please send a jacket to school. Please be sure to label it with your child’s first and last name. We also ask that you avoid sending your child to school in flip flops or shoes that easily slip off. These types of shoes can cause the kids to fall and get hurt. Please send your child to school in regular tennis shoes or sturdy shoes that stay on your child’s feet during active play outside or in PE.
