The Lion's Share

January 13, 2023

From the Principal . . .

Hi Lion Families,

I hope you all had a wonderful winter break. I have enjoyed hearing stories from our students about how much fun they had with family and friends during the time off. Our teachers are rested and revived and prepared for a great 3rd quarter. Our data digs were a great time to look over student progress and plan for the weeks ahead.

Students are doing a great job of wearing their lanyards throughout the day. They have also remembered classroom and school expectations and I see them collecting a lot of Dandy Lions. Dandy Lions can be turned into the office for a chance to be selected for pizza with the principal or an ice cream treat. We will also be offering a 3rd option which will begin to change monthly.

On Tuesday, January 24th, from 5:00-7:00 pm we will be hosting our Family Night. Our teachers and students are excited to show you what they have been working on in class. This is a great night to walk from room to room and not only see what your children are learning, but see incredible learning in all grades. Our 5th grade will be presenting their traditional wax museum. Don't miss out on this great night!

With many thanks,

Andrea Emerick
