Thailand's population and Culture
Thailand's culture has an Indian influence and Chinese traditions. Thai New Year, or Songkran are some of their holidays. Another holiday is Loi Krathong Is a holiday which is held on the 12 full moon of the Thai lunar calender. The act of floating away the candle raft is symbolic of letting go of all one's grudges, anger and defilement, so that one can start life afresh on a better foot.
Thailand's religion is mostly Buddhist. Most Thai people own spirit houses. They present offerings of food and drink to these spirits to keep them happy. These spirit houses can be found in public places and in the streets of Thailand, where the public make offerings.

Economy
Thailand is a new industrialized country. Thailand's government is going to be paralyzed for months. Thailand’s economy remains export-dependent. Thailand is the 2nd largest economy in Southeast Asia after Indonesia. Thailand has a well-developed infrastructure, and a free-enterprise economy.
Thailand exports products such as rice, shrimps, tapioca, rubber and sugar. The main destinations for Thailand’s exports are the rest of Asia and the US. Thailand's economy is not doing so well at this time. But soon will recover, in my opinion.
