Story Time Room Face-Lift
The Children's Story Time Room has a new look! Thanks to Kate Steere, our resident Cataloging Assistant and Artist, children now see animals flying in planes, floating in hot air balloons, and skydiving from a plane.
Kate, a 2018 graduate of Maine College of Art & Design, said she and Children's Librarian Kat Gillis wanted to create a sense of whimsy and joy when the children entered the room. "We want them to feel, 'Wooh, I'm up in the air!'"
When you visit the library, stop by the Story Time Room; it will lift your spirits!
Note: Registration is required unless otherwise noted.
