Attention PACE-Pathways Accelerating Career Experiences Community,

Please be advised that all students are being ENCOURAGED to #COMPLETE A Video Walk Thru of their PLP over the weekend but submissions are due by Tuesday November 21st.

The Purpose behind this is to ensure students become owners of their learning experiences while attending PACE-Pathways Accelerating Career Experiences and that they are able to speak to their Advisors for any clarifications that they may need. The PLP includes My Profile, My Progress, My Personal Development, My Goals, My Experiences, and My Behavior. Parents/Guardians should also become more aware through using this approach to ensure that dialogue is taking place in home. As the School Counselor, I am happy to help guide, clarify, and support in any way possible.

There is not a one size fits all, but we do recommend that students use one of the following methods for recording their PLP Video Walk Thru:

2."Stream" found in the Office apps, our recommendation for using this app is to ensure that the computer students use is updated and is free from having a Gazillion windows pulled up.

3.Students can record with their phones/tablets/IPad as long as they upload their finished product for the PLP Video Walk Thru.

4.Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Skype or any other video streaming platform they have access to.

Please check your emails periodically for any notification from PACE via Parent Square. We will send out important messages using this platform and posting on social media. We do have a FaceBook page and an Instagram page. We are working on getting a regular rhythm with posting so please be patient with us. Social Media Links are shared below. Please also be mindful of our handbook policies. Attendance on a regular and consistent basis is the only way to ensure that students are given the appropriate access to the learning needed to progress through their learning experiences here at PACE. it was an eventful week this week we had two AWESOME Guest Speakers Mr. Roberto Rivera & Vernon M. Williams who delivered on all cylinders. PACE Pythons students have a few projects to complete and not a lot of time, please be encouraged to shoot out an email over to the Counselor's Corner @ tclardy@cguhsd.org if any questions or concerns arise.

Prospective Student-Athletes there are shuttles that have been in effect since Monday November 13th that will transport students to Practice as long as it is approved. We have one who is currently a member of the Soccer Team. Students must indicate interest by emailing tclardy@cguhsd.org directly.
