PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE--COVID UPDATE
- Teachers will be available from 3:30-8:00pm
- Teachers will remain in their classrooms throughout the afternoon/evening.
- If your student has deficient grades (D’s and F’s) we encourage you to come visit with your student’s teachers concerning their grades.
- If your student does not have deficient grades, we ask that you not come this time. If you have questions or concerns, we encourage you to email the teacher or call the school.
- We will set up socially distanced chairs in the hallways to wait for a teacher who may not be available.
- We ask that face coverings be warn at all times and social distancing is maintained.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR STUDENT'S GRADES
- Go to www.nebo.edu.
- Under the "Parents" Tab, select "Infinite Campus Parent Portal"
- Login using the login and password you chose at the time of registration.
- Once logged in, click "Grades" in the left margin
- Click on the Course Title (i.e. "English 7") to see specifics about a grade.
- If you have more than one student in the district, you can change which student you are looking at by selecting the drop down in the top right corner.

EARLY OUT ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES
We mentioned a couple weeks ago that we would be developing several "ENRICHMENT" activities after school for students who would like to be involved. Those plans are being finalized, and we wanted to share them with you. These activities will change periodically (some change from week to week, others will not change for a month or so) but this gives you an idea of what the plan is. All enrichment activities require students to sign up (to limit number of students) ahead of time.
PE: (sign up outside of Counseling Center)
- Tuesdays: Dance with Coaches Gardiner and Sunderland
- Wednesdays: Biking with Coaches Bowden and Young
- Thursdays: Basketball shooting games with Coaches Charles and Claybaugh
Game Room: (sign up outside of Counseling Center)
- Tuesdays through Thursdays with the Counselors
- Air hockey, Foosball, Ping pong, etc.
Drama: (sign up outside of Mrs. Poulsen's classroom)
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: Improv, One-acts and other silliness with Mrs. Poulsen
Art: (sign up outside of Mrs. Mickelsen's classroom)
- Tuesdays and Thursdays: Various art projects with Mrs. Mickelsen (Light Painting Photography this week)
Free Breakfast and Lunch to All Nebo Students
Beginning today (September 14th) Nebo School District will be switching to an “Open Restricted Meal Program.” Under this program, breakfast and lunch are available for free to all students enrolled in Nebo School District, including remote learners.

PTSA REFLECTIONS CONTEST
The PTSA would like to announce this year’s Reflections’ theme “I Matter Because..”. We are excited to see our students’ interpretation of this theme in the following categories:
Dance Choreography/ Literature/ Music Composition/ Film Production/ Photography/ 2D Visual Art/ 3D Visual Art
This year, all entries will be submitted online so it has never been easier to participate. Please go to UTAHPTA.ORG/REFLECTIONS for official rules and to submit your art.
Some things to remember:
All entries must be the student’s original work, done only by the student. No copyrighted symbols or characters may be used. Students may enter one art piece in as many categories as they wish. Also, all students must remember to fill out the Artist Statement.
We hope many students will enter and enjoy reflecting on why they matter. Please contact the PTSA with any questions or concerns you have about Reflections.
NEBO DISTRICT MINIMAL DAY
On Monday, September 21st, all Nebo District Schools will dismiss early for afternoon Teacher Training.
DFJHS will dismiss at 11:15am. No lunch will be served.
Buses will run as normal.
