Bio
I was born on April 14, 1996 in Hickory, North Carolina. I was raised in Claremont, North Carolina and attended Claremont Elementary School through the 3rd Grade. After that i moved to Conover and attended Shuford Elementary School. After I completed Elementary School I attended Newton-Conover Middle and High School. While I was at Newton-Conover High School, I finished top five in my class and became one of the top High School baseball recruits. I decided to commit to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I stayed and played baseball for 3 years and then entered the 2017 MLB draft. Some of my career accolades at UNC was winning the top freshman award in 2015, a .406 career batting average with 43 career home runs and 145 RBI's. We also won the 2015 and 2017 NCAA national championships. I was drafted 8th overall in the draft by the Atlanta Braves and started my career in Double-A. After one year in the minors I was put on the major league roster for opening day in 2019. In 2023, I married my long time girlfriend that I had met in college in the off-season. I had an outstanding major league career. My career stats consisted of a .313 bating average, 457 home runs, 3056 hits and 1978 RBI's. I was also elected to 9 MLB all-star games and elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. After my baseball career, I went back home to Hickory and opened up my baseball facility to teach young people the game of baseball. I currently live on the lake with my wife and three kids.
