Innovation Cohort Application
Learner-Centered Collaborative (LCC) is supporting our District with the convening of an Innovation Cohort in the New Year. This will be an opt-in learning opportunity to support our APS educators with a Pathway that will include asynchronous learning, in person training with personalized feedback, and reflective planning sessions. If you stayed for the information session on December 13th (or even if you didn't but still want this opportunity) and are interested in being part of this innovation cohort, please complete the application below.
💡Professional Development💡
Leading Educators through Alternative Pathways (LEAP) is an intensive and innovative approach for a year-long alternative licensure program tailored to prepare teachers to be successful in New Mexico’s diverse classrooms. With the collaboration of stakeholders in education, LEAP was designed to be application-based, asking participants to immediately utilize strategies they learn, and is practitioner-focused, drawing heavily from teachers’ daily problems of practice. Below, please find information about registration requirements for Cohort 6 of the CES LEAP program. While its focus is on helping alternatively licensed teachers gain regular licensure, it can also be helpful in assisting otherwise licensed teachers to gain licensure for a different level (elementary vs secondary) or for Special Education. Within one year, all study requirements are met!

The Reading Resource Project is an ongoing program that runs throughout the year. The program distributes high quality, softcover books for Read Across America Day, National Drop Everything and Read Day, Children's Book Week, International Children's Book Day, and other Literacy Programs.
Reading Resource Project books are 100 book sets. Any literacy based effort qualifies for these books. You do not have to be a school or teacher. Reading Resource Project books are available in a limited quantity on a first come, first served basis.
Each 100 book set will contain a variety of at least 10 different titles. Recipients merely pay shipping, handling, and administrative costs, which is only $0.88 cents per softcover book ($88.00 per set of 100 books).
