Cougar Weekly Update
September 7, 2018
Principal's Message
Thanks to all of the second grade students and families who came to Back to School Night and Deployment. It was great to see the excitement on so many student's faces upon receiving their Chromebook! The educational opportunities that are created by each student having a device is amazing. I look forward to seeing teacher and student creativity in action!
If you have not logged on to InfoSnap and updated your profile for the year you have not agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy for computer use. This means your student is not able to participate in Tech Lab or get their device (2nd graders) until this is complete. Please take a few minutes to update your profile if you have not already done so.
On Tuesday the PTO has their first meeting of the year. Please come join these hardworking folks who give willingly of their time to support our school.
On Thursday is first grade Back to School Night and Make and Take Night. This opportunity for first grade parents gives insight into the curriculum for the year. During the evening teachers will also give strategies to help support student learning at home.
Have a wonderful weekend!

The application is open and available for all families to see if they qualify. The paperwork needs to be completed in the first 30 days of school. After this time, if the paperwork is not completed, all meals charged to start the school year will be billed as full price. I encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.
