Student & Parent Expectations
•Meet behavior expectations
•Maintain acceptable attendance
•Maintain passing grades
•Follow strict dress code policy (PDFs of Dress Codes are on the bottom of this presentation)
•All 6th – 8th grade students who score a Level 1 or 2 on FSA ELA and/or Math will be placed in an Intensive Class.
•All students in 1st – 8th grade are required to complete a Science Fair Project
For the parents:
•Minimum of 8 parent volunteer hours annually

If these requirements are not met you may be asked to return to
your zoned school for the 2023-2024 school year.

Portfolio submission for Challenger K8 will be in-person drop-off at the Hernando County School District Office, located at 919 N. Broad St, Brooksville, FL, 34601.
Portfolio drop -off dates and times are as follow:
Wednesday, November 17, 2021, 8:00am to 6:30pm
Thursday, November 18, 2021, 8:00am to 6:30pm
