Last Week Of School May 23rd

The last week of school students will not be able to bring backpacks and we will be a closed campus. A closed campus means that we not allow any visitors into the building. Students are permitted to bring a small purse- no totes or bags will be allowed.

Awards Ceremonies

6th Grade Awards: Monday, 5/23 @1:30 pm

7th Grade Awards: Tuesday, 5/24 @10 am

8th Grade Awards: Tuesday, 5/24 @2 pm

Parents were emailed during the week of May 16th to notify them that their child is getting an award. Please check the spelling of your child's name for accuracyin the email. Parents will need to enter through the GYM doors for the awards ceremonies. The gym doors will be opened 15 minutes prior to the start of the ceremonites.

All collections will take place in the library in during first period:

Students need to bring their Chromebook, Case (with strap) and Charger. All students will need to bring their devices to school on the corresponding date for their grade level.

8th Grade Party Information

8th graders will be celebrated on Friday, May 27th! 8th graders will eat C lunch. They will receive a ticket that will be used for raffle prizes in the cafeteria. ALL students will line the main hallway downstairs and we will have a CLAP OUT for our 8th graders as they head into the 8th grade party. 8th graders will stay in the gyms until the end of the day.

Thank you to our AMAZING PTO for their hard work getting everything organized and set up! (Don't forget to drop off your items to the front office if you signed up!)

FEES and fines

Fees and fines can be paid through School Cash Online. If your student lost their charger, case, or case strap they can report that to the repair center and it will be added to their account.

Summer School

Summer school will take place at Hildebrandt starting Monday, June 6th through Tuesday, June 21st. Students will come to school Monday-Thursday (FRIDAYS- NO SUMMER SCHOOL). If your student will be required to come to summer school you will be notified by June 1st.



  • We will notify families via Report Card legend/notes and via a Skyward Family Access email that results are available electronically.

  • Parents will be able to “single sign on” into the STAAR/TELPAS portal results within Skyward Family Access by clicking on the “STAAR Scores” link once logged into Skyward

IXL Resource

Want a way to help your child grow their Math and Reading skills at home?? Have them login to their IXL account (located on Student Dashboard) and work through their recommended skills based on their diagnostic tool! Our goal is for EVERY student to achieve 100 points of GROWTH on IXL. We will have 100 point GROWTH celebrations each quarter!

Student Expectations

Students are required to wear their lanyards and student ID badges daily.

  • If lost or forgotten: they can get a new one from the cafeteria BEFORE school or from the AP office DURING lunch.
  • These ID badges are used as their lunch and library card.

Student Dress Code

Student Dress:

Hildebrandt follow the district Code of Conduct for dress code. Some highlights from our dress code:

  • Shorts, skirts and dresses must be mid thigh.
  • Shirts must be the appropriate length, no exposed midriffs.
  • Low cut, revealing camisoles and shirts will not be permitted.
  • Pants must be worn at the waist so that no undergarments are exposed.
  • Jeans with holes above mid thigh will need to have leggings or shorts worn underneath.
  • Pajama pants are not permitted.
  • No costumes
  • Shoes must have a hard bottom (Ex. No slippers are allowed)
  • No alcohol, tobacco or marijuana insignia or advertisements can be on clothing.
  • No type of head covering is to be worn in the building except for religious or medical purposes. Examples of head coverings not allowed are head scarves, bandanas, hats, caps and hoodies.

Students in violation of the dress code will be provided the opportunity to correct the problem at school and return to the classroom. If the problem can't be corrected at school , we will work with the student and parent to obtain an acceptable change of clothing for the student.

Administration reserves the right to address any clothing they feel is distracting to the learning environment.

Important Updates/Policies

Electronic Devices Reminder

Cell phones , air pods and other electronic devices are to be used at your own risk. Please make sure that you are keeping track of your personal items and locking them up during PE in your PE lockers.

Forgotten Items/Deliveries to Students

Student deliveries will not be made during class. Students will be notified to pick up their items from the front office during passing periods. We do NOT allow food deliveries from 3rd parties (ie, Door Dash, Uber Eats, etc.) Anyone that is dropping off an item for students must be notated on the student's Skyward account.


BUS FINDER This will give you bus number, bus stop information and time of pick up and drop off

No transportation changes or early dismissals will be accommodated after 3:00 pm.


Students may not ride a different bus unless it has been approved through the Assistant Principal's office. This request must be turned in to the AP Secretary, Ms. Wachel, by email, parent note or you may call her at 832-249-5068 no later than 10 am on the day of the change.
