Family Newsletter-May 2019

Greetings Families,

I wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for all of the wonderful gestures of appreciation that were shown to all of our staff members last week during Teacher Appreciation Week. Each day we were gifted food, coffee, supplies, personal gifts, etc. We are fortunate to have such a supportive, kind, and caring community. Thank you!

We are nearing the end of the school year and we still have several family activities planned over the next few weeks. Please make sure to check the upcoming dates below so you don't miss out.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Gina McLain

Cross walk and traffic flow during morning drop off

Here is a suggestion to ease the traffic flow in the morning during drop off. Our crossing guard looks for breaks in traffic to lower her flag and let students cross. If you are turning into the school parking lot, please put your blinker on about 100 ft. from the turn so that our crossing guard can see that you are turning and can easily stop traffic at that time to allow students to cross. If you don't put your blinker on or wait until you get to the turn, she assumes you are going straight. This just helps her have a more natural break for allowing students to cross. We appreciate your attention to this suggestion. Thank you!
