Celebration of Learning & Family Dance Night Our annual event is happening on Thursday, May 23rd from 5:30-7:30. Classrooms will be open from 5:30-7:00. There will be two family dance sessions. Dancing geared to K-2nd grades will be from 6:00-6:30 and dancing geared to 3rd-6th grades will be from 6:45-7:30. This event is open house style, so come when you can. | A message from the American Heart Association Thank you for your longstanding support of Jump Rope for Heart (Kids Heart Challenge) at Lenox. This year was the best year ever, with the school community raising $12,600 for AHA!!! With that amount raised, the school has raised over $50,000 for AHA in the lifetime of participation – so incredible and helps advance the mission of AHA greatly. A huge shout-out to Mr. Karlin for supporting this cause in his time at Lenox and promoting heart healthy activities for our community. | Are you attending Lenox next year? If you know your current Kinder through 5th grade student will not be attending Lenox next school year, please let us know by filling out this quick survey. This helps us in a couple of ways: 1. make sure we can get your correct address for mailing important information over the summer such as report cards, 2. gives us information to help with equitable student placement in classrooms for the following school year. As a continuation of the American Heart Association’s partnership with the Timbers and Thorns FC, they are excited to announce the Second Annual Portland Thorns FC Kids with Heart Day!

Come join them to celebrate Kids with Heart Day at Providence Park for the Portland Thorns home opener on Sunday, June 2nd at 3:00pm! Portland Thorns FC and the American Heart Association are proud to recognize and honor the amazing students who are making a difference in our community by participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. All participating schools, students, families and faculty members are welcome to attend. Attendees can purchase a special half-price ticket and will receive a free commemorative Kids Heart Challenge and Thorns FC pair of sunglasses on the day of the match!
The top fundraiser from each school participating in the Kids Heart Challenge will receive an exclusive invitation to meet Timber Joey after the match and participate in a Q&A and autograph session with a Portland Thorns player where they can ask questions about living heart healthy!
***All tickets will be emailed to families two days prior to the event along with additional instructions regarding sunglasses distribution***
