Level 2 Students & Faculty joined together at a celebratory lunch on the last day of classes at The Prune Restaurant. Chef Ryan O'Donnell created these impressive "Party Subs" to serve to the graduating students. Congratulations to all!

25th Annual Gala Dinner & Auction | February 2015

On February 22 Students, Faculty & Chefs School Supporters joined together to enjoy an exquisite dinner at our 25th Annual Gala Dinner & Auction held at George Restaurant in Toronto.


Guests were treated to a whimsical menu presented by Chef Kaya Ogruce alongside Student Chefs in the kitchen. Auctioneer Chris Blake did an exceptional job at keeping the Auction lively, as Honorary Co-Chairs Billy Munnelly & Kato Wake entertained the guests with their humour & charm.


A wonderful time was had by all. We would like to send out a warm thank you to all of our supporters & donors to this event. Your support is invaluable!

10th Annual Mayor's Gala | January 17, 2015

Stratford Mayor Dan Matheson hosted the 10th Annual Mayor's Gala in January held at the Stratford Festival Theatre. This lively community event was catered by The Stratford Chefs School.


Chef instructor Ian Middleton created an impressive array of appetizers for the event, including an Oyster Bar, Charcuterie Station, an "Asian Taco Bar" and many more. Student Chefs had supporting roles in the kitchen as well as working the various food stations that were attended by reception guests. The evening was a great success!

International Chefs In Residence Series | January 2015

In January we had the great privilege of hosting two International Guest Chefs to our School. Chef Francesco Lagi (Villa Mangiacane - Tuscany) & Chef Michael Hazlewood (Toasted - London, England) joined us each for one week.


Student Chefs had the opportunity to work side by side in the kitchen with these talented Chefs to gain knowledge of their skills and expertise. The International Guest Chefs Dinner Series were a great success and were often sold out due to popularity.


We would like to extend our thanks to both Chef Francesco Lagi & Chef Michael Hazlewood for the time you shared with us.

Joseph Hoare Gastronomic Writer in Residence

One of Canada's favourite culinary personalities, Lucy Waverman was the 2014/15 Joseph Hoare Gastronomic Writer in Residence.


Lucy's knowledge as a celebrated author, editor, columnist and teacher was an invaluable experience to be shared with our students. We are grateful for the support and guidance that she provided.
