5th grade camp information

5th grade families - On Thursday evening, we held our parent meeting for camp and we are thankful that many families that were able to attend. On Friday, all 5th grade students received information and paperwork about camp - please look for this paperwork right away. There are 3 pieces of information:

• Permission form (includes questions about health and insurance) - you must fill out this entire form but do not sign it because it must be signed in the presence of a notary public. Good news: both of our secretaries Mrs. Terranova and Mrs. Larson are notaries, so all you need to do is bring the completed, but unsigned permission form to the Lakeview office and sign it in the presence of one of them.

• A "What to pack for camp" information sheet

• Information about the camp fundraiser - we have coordinated with Marcus Theaters to sell movie cards. A percentage of the cards sold by your family will be credited directly to your own student's camp account. We expect camp to cost approximately $85 this year, and we want every student to attend, so please take advantage this fundraising opportunity.

Students will be going to Camp Anokijig in Plymouth (near Sheboygan) for one night. The dates of the camp are May 28 and 29. More information will follow, but please mark your calendars and return the permission form as soon as possible. Thank you!

4th & 5th grade families

This is a reminder that we have a new math resource called Dreambox that we really want all 4th and 5th grade students to use on a consistent basis. We provide some time for students to work on Dreambox at school, but we would love it if you would please encourage it at home as well! Our 5th grade students can log in on their Chromebooks. Since our 4th grade students do not bring their Chromebooks home, we encourage families to bookmark the website on a device at home. Click here for the website to bookmark. Students know their username and password. Even if students can just complete 1 lesson each night, they will benefit greatly. We are seeing the greatest benefit from students who are completing even 1 lesson/night at home!
