Congratulations to all for completing another school year! Extra congratulations go out to our final group of Husky P.R.I.D.E. honorees. Please join us in giving a big Husky howl out to Aiyana, Katlin, Piper, Amelia, Haylee, and Brianna. Thank you for your hard work and positive contributions to Homer Middle School!
Aiyana Cline
· Aiyana is a highly motivated student who is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure her work is topnotch. We appreciate the insightful and meaningful questions she asks during class, and we’re impressed with how she seeks out feedback from her teachers and peers. Aiyana sets the bar high and perseveres no matter the challenge.
Katlin Cudabeck
· Katlin has an artist’s imagination and a poet’s soul, but she’s also a diligent student who takes advantage of every opportunity to work with her teachers. We admire Katlin’s dedication to her artwork and we appreciate how well Katlin works within a team. We also appreciate that she shares her ideas enthusiastically and listens attentively to others.
Piper Kassouni
· Piper has a clever wit and creative flair, and she’s a lot of fun to be around. Her work shows thought and care, and her ideas lead us down unexpected paths. We appreciate how Piper searches for connections and deeper understanding, and we hope that she will continue to support Mr. Olson in his desperate search for a truly funny joke.
Amelia Neumeyer
· Amelia arrives in class each day with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She enjoys learning and is able to successfully work independently or alongside others. We appreciate that Amelia is focused, engaged, and attentive in class and always sets right to work. We also appreciate that she is a supportive, respectful, and kind person.
Haylee Owen

Haylee loves to laugh and have fun, but she also knows when it’s time to buckle down. She a diligent student who takes pride in her work. Haylee is organized and neat and loves to add creative details to her projects. We appreciate her willingness to help others and her enthusiastic participation in class.Brianna Wise
· Brianna smiles no matter how difficult the task. She’s happy to work hard, and she truly enjoys learning. We appreciate how easily Brianna gets along with all of her classmates, how willing she is to offer assistance, and how attentively she listens. Brianna’s never-quit attitude, and unfailing positive outlook make her a joy to teach.
