Hour of Code: Northwoods Elementary Schools
Next week is Hour of Code Week. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. It provides students an one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.
As part of this year’s Hour of Code Week, Northwoods Elementary School of Technology and Innovation will be joining schools worldwide in conducting an Hour of Code event on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm. This event will allow students to experience one hour of computer coding and programming in all of the school's K-5 classrooms.
An invitation has been extended to visit the school during this exciting event and/or volunteer in a classroom.
If you would like to volunteer in a classroom during this event, please contact the school.
Northwoods Elementary believes this project will bring innovative experiences for students and positive community relations for the school.
