7 Mindsets

Everything is Possible, Dream Big, Embrace Creativity, and Expect Great Results:

Everything is Possible teaches us that we are all capable of living extraordinary lives. We learn that everything in existence was once just an idea, until someone believed it was possible and turned it into a reality. Embracing this fact allows us to envision a wonderful life, expect greatness, and make our dreams come true.

itslearning and Parent Portal

Parents, do you have Parent Portal and itslearning access? Please refer to this handy information document to learn the difference between these two resources. We have additional information about itslearning posted to our school website under Quick Links. itslearning will once again be our avenue for online learning in the event of inclement weather this school year. Students must login to complete assignments in itslearning using their unique personal identification number (username) and password. The parent itslearning view is different from students, but offers a quick "snapshot" of all your students' classes.

Cake Walk

Our beloved Blue Bear Festival is coming up on Friday, September 18th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Among parents and students of all ages, the Cake Walk is one of the most popular events at our festival. We need everyone's help in making this event a success by having lots of treats for people to win. We are in desperate need for people to bake or to buy and donate pies, cakes, or individually wrapped sets of cookies, brownies, cupcakes, Rice Krispy treats, or any other treats that you can think of. We also welcome specialty items such as sugar and gluten free. If you make homemade items, please put a label on it that lists the ingredients for those with food allergies. Starting Thursday, September 17th, we will have a table set-up in the Front Office were you can drop off your donations for the Cake Walk. We will also have a cart out during the car rider line where you can hand your treats off to staff without having to get out of your car. If you have any questions about the Cake Walk, please e-mail Mrs. Porter at We greatly appreciate any donations that you can make in helping our Cake Walk to be a fun experience for everyone.

Forsyth County BYOT First Annual 5K and Fun Run
