Third Grade Disney Musical
Kudos to our 3rd grade students, Ms. Handley, and Mrs. Moore for the incredible 1st musical of the year. This could not be done without the support of our special subject teachers, 3rd grade teachers, and YOU. The costumes were perfect and this performance brought a lot of smiles to our campus last week.

Teachers Achieving Excellence (TAE's)
Positive words can go a long way in encouraging and empowering people. Studies have shown that positive words can increase feelings of self-confidence, self-esteem, and hope in people.Did you know you can write our staff TAE's through Parent Access? This can be done for any of our staff member that works on our campus.
Log into Parent Access today and write some encouraging words to our teachers and/or staff to let them know what a good job they are doing!
Attention Walker Families
We need your help!
There has been an increase in families picking up at our walker exit with dogs not on leashes. If you bring your pet, please have them on a leash at our walker exit.
This will provide an extra layer of peace of mind to some of our students and families that are hesitant around animals.
Thank you for your help and support with making our students feel comfortable and safe throughout their school day.

GT Referral Window Now thru December 15th
Referral requests are now open for Conroe Independent School District Gifted and Talented program. Although the testing will not take place until late January, referral requests are accepted at this time. Referral requests can be made by the parents and/or campus staff. It is recommended that parents of 2nd grade students wait until CogAT scores have arrived before nominating their child because CogAT scores are part of the GT assessment. If you are interested in referring your child, you may want to discuss this with your child’s teacher.
Referrals will be accepted October 3- December 15, 2023. You may click the button below for the form or request a referral form from the front office or the Counselor. You can also find the referral form and other GT information on the CISD GT homepage.
Bus Stop Guidelines
Pre-K and Kindergarten students must be released to a parent or guardian. The campus has yellow bus rider signs for Pre-K and Kindergarten parents/guardians to pick up. The designated adult receiving students at the stop should have the sign visible and come to the doorway of the bus to receive their student. Parents waiting in vehicles or away from the bus can cause a delay in transportation due to the driver needing to identify who is picking up these students.
We ask that students arrive at the bus stop at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time and stand 10 feet back from the roadway for safety. Students who are not at the bus stop on time cause delays in the arrival to school which affects all of the students riding the bus.
Being at school each day is important and when students are absent, they miss out on valuable instruction. Every instructional minute matters! Please send your students to school when they are not sick. Vacations should be scheduled during our long breaks.
