ACT Prep - Online Class
Grades 10-12
Although the ACT is no longer an admissions requirement at many colleges, ACT scores are still used to award merit scholarships and financial aid applications. Research shows that up to 60% of scholarships still require an ACT score! Also, an ACT score makes your college application more complete, as it provides another important piece of information about your academic abilities. This begs the question: are you ready for the ACT? This standardized, high-stakes test is predictable – and thus it is a test for which you can prepare!! This virtual online course is designed to familiarize students with fundamental techniques and strategies that are vital for understanding the ACT. Students will be taught content-specific strategies and will practice ACT passages and questions in the four subject-area tests (English, Math, Reading, and Science). We also learn the format and timing of the test so you can take the test with confidence. Come and learn how you can “Beat the ACT!”
