New Books!

The library was able to purchase 70+ books from the Scholastic Book Fair. Come check out our new titles.

Banned Books Week

Banned Books Week is the national book community's annual celebration of the freedom to read. The 2015 celebration will be held September 27-October 3. Hundreds of libraries and bookstores around the country draw attention to the problem of censorship by mounting displays of challenged books and hosting a variety of events.

Come visit the Banned Books Display in the Rippon Library.

Library Lessons

The library has been working to collaborate with teachers in the building. Each language arts class has been to the library for orientation. The library has worked with several departments to teach lessons and gather resources.

The library has taught lessons on Primary and Secondary sources and research methods.

Lunch Bunch

The first Lunch Bunch was a big success. Check the Fusion page to see a video of pictures from the Lunch Bunch.
