At convocation, Dr. Joe Sanfelippo talked about how we do not get to choose what we are remembered for... how scary, but also, how wonderful. That is why it is so important that we remember the power we have in this building and out of this building. Our legacy is constantly being built and we have a lot of power in how that story is written. I'm so grateful for the kindness and selflessness that surrounds me here. I grateful that students will have wonderful memories from their time in your classroom ranging from conquering learning something hard, reaching their goals, pushing to the next reading level, making holiday crafts, or even seeing an elf coming in on a wrecking ball. This place is so special because of the people that make it up. Thank you for being one of those special people and choosing to share your talents here!
Hugs,
Melissa
