February 28th and March 1st we will be having ASSIST Indiana present the ThinkFirst and Stay Safe Program to all students in the building. This program is put on in part because of Indiana Code which states: "...school shall provide age appropriate and research and evidence based instruction on child abuse and child sexual abuse to students in kindergarten through grade 12." Think First & Stay Safe™ has been scientifically evaluated and proven to be highly effective in educating and safeguarding children, based on the federally-mandated Principles of Effectiveness and is a nationally recognized program for child sexual abuse education.
