Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of college writing. The course specifically addresses the following: pre-writing, writing, revising, and editing; paragraph and essay organization; introductory research and documentation skills; the importance of critical thinking, clarity, and conciseness in writing; grammar; in-class writing; audience and purpose.
