Thank you:
Reminders:
K - 3 teachers now that the reading diagnostic is complete, please send me a spreadsheet of your student names and their percentile rank. I will begin to compile a school list for TGRG tracking. All TGRG procedures, forms and responsibilities will be reviewed during next week's 2 hour delay.
Please advertise and remind parents about the Soul Shoppe Community night on Thursday, October 1. We are promoting this as a social event for kids by offering pizza, games and time with students from the other primaries. Any staff that would like to volunteer, please let me know.
Soul Shoppe school presentation schedule for Friday, Oct. 2:
Please be prompt to the assemblies and classroom visits, as Joseph is on a very tight schedule. 4th grade may have to leave specials a few minutes early on Friday to get to the assembly on time. Third grade teachers whose planning starts at 10:20 (Soli, Rowe, and Frederick) will sit with their classes during the group presentation until 10:20, when they will be relieved by Sabo, Martinez, and Sedlak for the remainder of the group presentation (and their planning period). Considering the specials schedule and the nature of the Soul Shoppe program, this was the best alternative. For the classroom visits, please let me know which room you would like to use. Thanks! Also, please let me know if you have any questions.

Words of Wisdom and Action..............................
Expect to Make a Difference – When positive educators walk into their classroom they expect to make a difference in their student’s lives. In fact, making a difference is the very reason why they became a teacher in the first place and this purpose continues to fuel them and their teaching. They come to school each day thinking of ways they can make a difference and expecting that their actions and lessons will lead to positive outcomes for their students. They win in their mind first and then they win in the hearts and minds of their students.
