The Lesson


When I teach research to the students, I always start with the end. I show them what they are going to create. That usually gets their attention and makes them want to work to get there.

In 3rd grade, we researched Rapid Changes to the Earth's Surface. I showed students pictures of a graphic novel that another class created. This helps them begin with the end in mind.
