Message from the Office

Even though we had a short week with MEA, we still decided to carryout hall sweeps Monday-Wednesday. We feel they were very successful. The first day there were 55 students swept. The next day, as we hoped they drastically dropped to around 23. The final day, less than 15. This again is to promote punctuality to class, keep kids on task while in and on their way to class and keep the hallways clear and quiet. Hopefully we will not have to continue the sweeps and the students will understand that we need them on time to classes and out of the hallways unless they have permission/pass.

Here's What's Happening at Humboldt

Humboldt Debate

The Humboldt debate team is off to a great start, and we have dedicated, passionate and unique debaters who are practicing hard to compete in our first tournament coming up on Oct. 29th at Roseville Area High School, if you would like to support the team in any way, please reach out to either Zach Miller (front office) or Reies Romero in the student services space!

College Application Day at Humboldt

A huge shoutout to Ms. Rose Yackley and all the counselors and staff that helped make our application days a great success. We had more that 30 seniors apply to schools all over Minnesota and the metro area. We are so excited for our seniors and can't wait to see where they end up.

Dia de Los Muertos

Our alter is prepared and ready for pictures and "recuerdos", memories of family members and loved ones. Students are welcome to bring in pictures or items that they would like to put on the alter to honor those that are no longer with us. If your student wants to bring a picture or item have them put their name and grade on it so we can return it. We want anyone that would like to participate to bring their items to Ms. Dulce or Ms. Reeve and we will help them get their items placed on our alter.

Thank you to the students that helped us set up and decorate the walls, our entry way looks beautiful and we could not have done it without you.

Give To The Max Day is coming up! We are a small school and we're trying to grow our student body, programs, staff and family engagement. Without the support of families our students would struggle. Some of the support is financial. This day of fundraising allows our school to raise money for many different parts of our school and distribute to departments or groups in need. It also allows organizations to double their donation and for companies to give to us even if they are not directly connected to our site.

Our principal will work with our office staff and determine how to distribute so that all groups can benefit in some way. Any gift helps. As always if you or your family is unable to donate, please keep us in mind and share our page/link so that others may donate. The links we will share with you may be put on your social media or shared through email or text. Sharing the information and getting Humboldt and our students and their hopes for school equipment and supplies as well as funds that can help with field trips and even hiring is a great gift to us. Thank you all for your consideration or for sharing!

Please view our page here! Donate if you can and share even if you cannot donate.
