Weekly Update #38 - Whew!

June 6-10, 2016

Shout Outs

Shout out to Mrs. Bickford and Mr. Klockenteger for organizing the graduates as they walked to get their diplomas! Excellent work!

Shout out to all those who helped with graduation: especially security who worked in the heat most of the day setting up and then worked until the last car left after 10:00 p.m.

SHOUT OUT to Mr. Schneider for organizing graduation! Also to the APs who worked in the heat setting up, delivering waters, and at grad practice.

Please keep posting to recognize your colleagues.

Word of the Week - Summer Break - No really: this is a week off from the word of the week.

REMINDER: Each week we give six students a backpack with a gift certificate in it when they can tell us the word, what it means and use it correctly in a sentence.

Last week's winners for credibility were: Destiny Arce (9), Mariana Escatell (10), Jacob Garcia (9), Sahara Garcia (11), Arissa Venegas (10)

Please take a minute to recognize these students if you have them in your class.

Information and Updates: Last Update of the 2015-16 school year.

As we come upon the closing of another school year, I want to remind you of our staff meeting last Tuesday. We are tired, it's been a long year, with many changes. Please find a moment to celebrate each other. Congratulate a first year teacher (we all remember our first year teaching) and congratulate yourself! I do! I congratulate each and every one of you.

As for closing procedures: paperwork will be in your mailboxes by the end of Monday, or early Tuesday. Much is the same as last year. We will do a key control again this year. We shortened the room inventory form. Please check it carefully.

As Mr. Schneider and the counselors work to complete the master schedule, there may be changes over the summer. As always, we will contact you directly to let you know of any content changes (which we have not already spoken about with you). Our goal is always to let you know your teaching assignments for the following year before you leave for the summer.
