Pandanus Tectorius
The tectorius tree crows from 4-14 metres tall. it grows in most humid places e.c.t Hawaii, indonesia and queensland Australia. The fruit can be eaten raw or can be cooked. It is a majour food source in Micronesia. The Tectorius fruit is also used in dental floss. The difference in the male and female is that the male flower is small and fragrant, form clusters or rasemas, and lasting only a single day. Female flowers resemble the fruit. Pandandanus is also know as the screw pine.
Cupuacu
The white pulp of the cupuacu tastes a bit like a mix of chocolate and pineapple, and It is frequently used in desserts, juices and sweets. The juice tastes a bit like a pear, with a bit of banana.Cupuacu trees usually grow from 5 to 15 meters in height, some can reach up to 20 meters high. They have brown bark. Their leaves are 25–35 cm long and 6–10 cm in width, with 9 or 10 pairs of veins. Their leaves change from pink-tinted to green, and eventually they begin bearing fruit.It is extremely popular in South America, especially Brazil. The scientific name for the Cupuacu is Theobroma Grandiflorum.
Pomelo Fruit
The Pomelo Fruit or the Citrus maximas was called "shaddock", after the captain of a East india compeny ship who brought the fruit to jamaca in 1696. Recently the word "pomelo" has become the more common name, although "pomelo" has historically been used for grape fruit. the peel of the Pomelo can be used for marmelade and can also be dipped in chocolate. It is also eaten in salads and drinks.
Jamaican Ackee
Ackee, is the national fruit of Jamaica,it is a food staple in many Jamaican diets. The word "ackee" came from the Twi language. The ackee tree is a tropical evergreen tree. It can grow as tall as 40 feet. The leaves are broad and pinnate; its approximately 10-cm wide, 100-g fruit may be colored anywhere from straw to bright red. The fruit splits open while still on the tree to reveal 3 glassy black seeds surrounded by a thick, oily, yellow aril. The fruit should be allowed to open and ripen naturally on the tree. The fruit is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin A, zinc, and protein.
Monstera deliciosa
The Monstera deliciosa is also know as specific epithet. The Monstera deliciosa's fruit grows up to 25 cm long and 3–4 cm diameter, The flesh is similar to a pineapple in texture,it can be cut away from the core and eaten. Its fruity taste similar to jackfruit and pineapple. The roots of the Monstera deliciosa can bec used for ropes and wieved baskets in mexico and also used on snake bites
