October Happenings
October was very busy for us! We worked on writing paragraphs with specific details. We also learned about complete sentences, synonyms, antonyms and homophones.
In Math we continued to work with place value, number systems, metric conversions, and we learned new math vocabulary and will use it regularly. We have been working on rounding numbers as well. (5 or more raises the score...4 or less...let it rest.)
Many of our students are really doing well with their Multiplication Facts! Keep studying! This is so important to their success and your help is critical.
We will be working on our Native American Unit and will be exploring the topic of World Explorers! In Science, we are working on plant parts and animal classification.
