Buckingham STEM Parent Newsletter

January 2016

Happy New Year!

We are so excited for the new year at Buckingham STEM Integrated Elementary School. This winter will give us time to dive deep into teaching students skills to be creative, collaborative, and persistent problem solvers. Please bring your family to our 2nd annual STEMghetti this month. There will be a fun family engineering challenge, pasta dinner, raffle prizes and a silent auction!

One of our overarching goals is to build strong partnerships with the parents and community members in order to strengthen our students' access to relevant and purposeful educational experiences connected to life beyond our brick walls. If you are interested in sharing your knowledge or profession with our students, please reach out to your child's teacher. I am so impressed with your students and their eagerness to learn and grow into caring and engaged learners. Continue to daily ask your students about their learning, challenges and successes. I look forward to partnering with you in 2016 to promote the growth and success of every child at Buckingham.
