Mavericks Team Update
May 9, 2016
The Countdown has Begun!
But, that only leaves us with 9.5 days left for some hard work to continue to prepare our Mavericks to be freshman this fall! Its very, very important these next two weeks that:
- Students come to school on time and every day! WE ARE STILL DOING WORK, not just parties or "nothing" as some students might say.
- School expectations and classroom expectations still apply. Students are still expected to work in the classroom and follow all of the other school and classrooom expectations of being Ready, Responsible, and Respectful. Since we students have participated in lessons all year concerning these expectations and understand what they look like, they are expected to follow them.
- Students are expected to still bring their school supplies to class every day, each hour.
- Its getting hot out! However, it is important that students make sure to follow dress code. The air conditioning is cooling off our rooms quite quickly so no need to worry about heat in the classrooms!
- All work is turned in on time!!!! It is important that students learn how to meet deadlines, and teachers have deadlines regarding grades to meet as well; the deadlines we set on our assignments for the next few weeks are set to give us time to grade and give feedback to students and meet our own deadlines.
