Educational Technology Programs
2019-2020
Below please find the programs we will be utilizing by division in the 2019-2020 school year.
Elementary School
Below are the educational programs and resources that Elementary teachers will be leveraging in their classroom to enhance the online learning experience for our students.
iReady
i-Ready starts with a test that determines every student’s academic skills in math and reading. The results of the test will help teachers identify exactly where a student needs to develop, as well as where his or her strengths are. Teachers can use this information to design individualized instruction that meets the unique needs of learners. The lessons include three parts, consisting of a tutorial, guided practice, and a graded activity. This exciting format and engaging content draws students in right away. Students get supportive, real-time feedback on their progress in each skill; they see motivating messages and earn credits after completing lessons, which builds their investment in learning.
Reflex
Reflex Math is used in grades 2-5 for Individualized online game-based math fact fluency practice.
Storia
Storia offers both school-wide and classroom subscriptions to eBook libraries.
Learning A-Z Suite of Programs
The programs include Headsprout, Raz-Kids and Reading A-Z. The programs differentiate student reading with more than 2,000 books at 29 levels of reading difficulty. They help teachers hone reading skills with lesson plans, worksheets, discussion cards, and comprehension quizzes that accompany every leveled book. In addition, they also teach important 21st century skills and address critical ELA curriculum standards.

As a student works through a course, ALEKS periodically reassesses the student to ensure that topics learned are also retained.
